University of Salford,
Campus Map of University of Salford
The University of Salford is very close to Manchester City Centre and can be reached easily by road (via bus) and rail (the nearest station is Salford Crescent).
For more detailed information see – Travel information for University of Salford
The University does not have accommodation options on site, however it is very close to Manchester City Centre and Salford Quays (both of which have a range of accommodation options). Here are a few recommendations of places to try.
Premiere Inn Salford Central – This is approx. 15 -20 minute walk from the symposium venue and is also very close to Manchester City Centre (convenient for the train stations, getting to the conference meal or attending the Women in Comedy Festival).
Holiday Inn Manchester West – Again this is approx. 15 – 20 mins walk to the venue of the symposium (although a little more out of the way from central Manchester).
Travelodge Manchester Central – Slightly further walking wise maybe approx. 20 – 25mins but a cheaper option (if booked in advance) close to both the symposium venue and central Manchester.
